To bring the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey experience to consumers traveling around the world, the first Jack’s Bar & Grill opened in March 21 in Dubai International airport. The contemporary concept bar, designed and operated by MMI and Emirates Leisure Retail, offers an atmosphere of southern hospitality and a menu that’s true to the Lynchburg, TN-based whiskey distillery’s roots.
Why Dubai? According to Jack Daniel’s parent company Brown-Forman, Dubai International airport has been among the world’s top-selling Jack Daniel’s locations; it’s been the top-selling location for the past two years.
Jack’s Bar & Grill is the only location in the world where the brand’s Sinatra Select blend of Tennessee whiskey is sold by the glass. The special release, which was unveiled late last year and honors Jack Daniel’s fan Frank Sinatra, is aged in special Sinatra barrels that have grooves carved into the staves to expose the liquid to more wood.
