Tortoise Creek Le Charmel

Tortoise Creek has launched “Le Charmel,” an estate-produced blend of 70% syrah and 30% grenache from the Costières de Nîmes region of the Rhône. Le Charmel’s name is a conjunction of the names of Tortoise Creek creator Mel Master and his son Charlie. The value-driven wine delivers full-bodied flavors of the southern Rhône Valley, displaying generous aromas of blackberries, chocolate, spice and notes of garrigue, according to the company. Imported by Winesellers, Ltd. Le Charmel is available for a suggested retail price of $13.
