Casa Vinicola Bertani Domains

Casa Vinicola Bertani (“Bertani”) has announce the expansion of the company beyond its roots as a producer of Veronese wines, through the creation of Bertani Domains.

Bertani Domains is a venture that unites Bertani’s original property in Veneto with other  Italian wineries – among these are Puiatti in the northeastern region of Friuli and TREROSE and Val di Suga in Tuscany. Together, Bertani Domains encompasses over 4,200 acres of land across Italy, of which more than 800 are under vine.

Puiatti is located in the northeastern corner of Italy in two of Friuli’s most important wine producing areas, 25 acres in Collio and 124 acres in Isonzo. Puiatti produces wines from both indigenous and international grapes, including the aromatic varieties for which the region is best known: Archètipi Ribolla Gialla (SRP: $45.00), Lus Ribolla Gialla (SRP: $30.00), Fun Sauvignon Blanc (SRP: $30.00), Cur Emozioni Traminer Aromatico (SRP: $23.00), Vuj Friulano (SRP: $26.00) and Metodo Classico Ribolla Gialla (SRP: $48.00).

TREROSE is located near the town of Montepulciano, and estate covers 445 acres, of which 193 are under vine and 136 are dedicated solely to the production of Vino Nobile. TREROSE produces an array of wines:  Salterio Rosso Di Montepulciano DOC (SRP: $17.00), Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Simposio DOCG (SRP: $65.00) and Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano Santa Caterina DOCG (SRP: $35.00).
