Following the December release of Alacran Mezcal, the company has announced a new product: Alacran Cristal Tequila.
Alacran Cristal is an anejo tequila packaged in a clear, sleek glass bottle. The tequila uses agaves aged 7 to 10 years, harvested in the highlands of Jalisco. It is matured for 14 months in American Oak barrels from bourbon, generating a rich, woody flavor with a hint of vanilla, the company says.
As a result of Alacran’s clarifying filtration process, a crystal tequila is produced with light-gold reflections. Each bottle is hand labeled and numbered.
The suggested retail price for Alacran Cristal Tequila is between $49-$59 per 750-ml. bottle.
Alacran Cristal is sold nationally and online. For more information, visit autenticoalacran.com, facebook.com/AlacranNY or twitter.com/AlacranNY.
