Constellation Brands senior vice president Jim Ryan presents a check in the amount of $775,000 to The V Foundation for Cancer Research executives John Leshney, Susan Braun, Rob Steeger, and board of directors member, David Williams. The V Foundation is one of the leading cancer research funding organizations in the nation. This year’s total surpasses Constellation Brands’ initial goal of $750,000, making the 2014 “Each Corona Gets us Closer to a Cure” initiative the most successful since this partnership was formed.
All proceeds from Constellation Brands, its distributor network, retailers, and other business partners will benefit The V Foundation, founded by collegiate basketball coach Jim Valvano and ESPN. The V Foundation remains a longtime partner of Constellation Brands Beer Division and Corona Extra.
In this 4th year of partnership with The V Foundation, Constellation Brands has generated more than $2,000,000 in donations to help make a significant impact in the fight against cancer.
