Brown-Forman hosted its 19th annual Broker of the Year Awards on Sunday, May 17, crowning both Heavyweight and Middleweight winners for the 2015 fiscal year.
Republic National Distributing Company of Ohio captured the Heavyweight Winner title, while Horizon Beverage of Maine was awarded Middleweight Winner.
Both distributors were recognized at the annual Broker Awards dinner prior to attending the annual NABCA conference held at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.
The Brown-Forman Broker Awards are based on measurable objectives including volume goals, distribution, and other brand-building activities during the company’s fiscal year, ending April 30, 2015.
Each winner received a prize fighting bell plaque and a $5,000 check to benefit a charity of their choice.
“We are pleased with the outstanding efforts of all of our control state partners in driving this important channel of our U.S. business,” stated Marc Satterthwaite, Vice President, Director Sales Operations North America. “A special tip of the hat, however, goes to both RNDC Ohio and the Horizon Maine for finishing at the top of their broker weight classes.”
