Don Q Rum has announced its partnership with the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection of the world’s ocean and beaches through an activist network.
The partnership will raise funds and awareness for Surfrider through a variety of initiatives, according to the companies.
Beginning mid-May 2015 and while supplies last, customers will receive a Don Q reusable grocery bag made with recycled materials with each bottle of Don Q Coco purchased in participating stores.
Additionally, between May 1 and June 30, Don Q will donate a portion of the proceeds from both signature Don Q Coco cocktails and bartenders’ original Don Q Coco recipes (available in participating bars and restaurants around the country) to Surfrider.
The Don Q Coco signature drinks include:
- Coco Bongo (Don Q Coco, coconut water, pineapple juice).
- Coco Splash (Don Q Coco, lemon-lime soda and orange juice).
