Gregg Mineo, Director of Maine’s Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations retired from his position as of April 28, 2023. After agreeing to come out of his first retirement, Mineo served BABLO for nine years, spearheading programs that produced record annual profits.
According to a BABLO press release, Mineo’s skill and nimbleness were particularly demonstrated by his navigation of the significant changes in the state’s spirits operations and through a myriad of pandemic challenges. His expertise and guidance leaves both the Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery operations well positioned to succeed now and into the future.
Mickey Boardman, BABLO’s current Deputy Director of Lottery will step in as the interim BABLO Director to allow time for a full executive search and hiring process to occur.
